We are slowly getting things in order for Christmas. The outside is done. The inside is decorated. The shopping is almost done. Still need to wrap everything. This little girl thinks she can open her gifts early. She has twice taken out her toys of her stocking.

We are hosting Christmas this year and have a big day planned. Can't wait for us ALL to be together tomorrow.
Tonight we are headed to Aunt Jackie and Uncle Joe's house for their big annual Christmas Eve party. Santa is arriving at 7:30.
Happy that Dave is off today and off until tomorrow night so he gets to celebrate with us and not have to worry about going to work during all the festivities.

Dave and I went to the Farmer's Market Saturday morning. Bought the best Iced Coffee from Mama's Cold Brew. Their creamer is the BEST! I'm an iced coffee fan and drink it every morning. I'm kind of opposite from most people. I like my coffee cold and my tea hot.
Maycie (Robert's girlfriend) bought Sky a little Christmas gift. She was more than thrilled to be dressed up as a reindeer.
Robert and Maycie are so cute. They got matching onesies. I was laughing because they do look like Clark Kent and Lois Lane.
Yesterday I spent the entire day in the kitchen. I made a homemade chicken lasagna for dinner and baked a boat load of cookies. My parents came over for dinner and we played Phase 10.
It's a short week for me. I only have to work Mon, Tues and Wed. All is ready for Christmas!
This year when we hosted our annual PoKeNo Christmas Party we added having everyone wear Ugly Christmas Sweaters. It was so much fun! Seeing what everone wore ranging from lightup lights around their neck, funky socks, bows all over their shirts and of course the ugly sweaters were the best! Dave and I ended up with 3 gifts. Would have been four, but the one time I did win it was stolen.
I was thinking this would be fun to do for more holidays. Like the next one I want to plan is for St. Patty's Day. Here's a photo of the group (some had taken off their "costumes").

We are enjoying the holidays this season.
Robert is on break from Arizona State until January 11th. It's been so nice to have him home again. I'm sure the time is going to fly bye fast, so I am taking in every minute of our family all being together.
Dave and I have been catching up on our TV shows we have DRV'd. We were behind from having company for 10 days over Thanksgiving week.
The house is all decorated for Christmas. We are hosting Christmas Day at our house this year.
The shopping is done and all wrapped. Just have to shop for all our Christmas dinner fixings this weekend.

I decided to jump in on the Elf on the Shelf fun. I wanted to last year and just thought that Robert was too old and wished it existed when he was little. I decided I didn't care how old we are and I was going to do it anyway. Meet Luther Lopez. Dave named him. Robert thinks we are nuts, but I know he really likes it. I don't make them look for Luther. I hide Luther in a place that I know they will see him. Dave loves it and even hid him for me yesterday when I came home from work. Here are some of the places Luther has been hiding.
Sky is like a baby so as long as she is all swaddled up she will sleep where she is put. I put her in Robert's bed last night so when he came home from work this is what he saw. Sky didn't seem to mind Luther.
This morning I moved her to our bed so when Dave came home from work he would see Sky with Luther in our bed. Well Sky didn't like Luther this morning. I guess you can say Sky is not a morning person. HA!
Then she calmed down and welcomed Luther to share her blanket.

Today has been a nice day. We had our annual home owners meeting this morning. Then made a Costco run and ran to a couple of different grocery stores after. Now we are home for the night to relax. At least I am. Dave has to work tonight and Robert is going out.
I think I'll do some laundry, watch some Christmas movies and start addressing our Christmas cards.

Last night we went to Glendale Glitters. We went out to dinner while we were there. Then the sun went down and we walked around and enjoyed all the lights on the trees.
