I cannot believe school will start in four weeks! My baby will be a freshman in high school? Really? Like I have said before, I am so excited for this part of his life to begin and it's also so bittersweet. Robert can't wait! He's been spending 3 to 4 days (mornings) a week at the high school going to the weightlifting room. He runs the track first then goes to weightlifting. He has decided to play freshman football. He is doing football camp next week for three nights. Here's one of my POTD from a couple weeks ago (pic of the high school marquee).
We had a great 4th of July weekend. We went to Wet-n-Wild on Friday. Saturday, Dave and I went and saw Eclipse. After the movie we picked up Robert (he didn't want to see the movie) and we headed over the Cook's house for some drinks and fireworks. On the 4th, my mom and dad came over and we played games and had dinner. On Sunday, we had some friends over for a BBQ and more games. I was really bad about taking photos this past weekend. I did snap this one before we had dinner on the 4th.
We were going to BBQ burgers on the fourth and then the guys all wanted enchiladas instead. The corn on the cob was already bought so we had that with our enchiladas and rice.
Here's a little bit of our red, white and blue out front.
Tomorrow Robert has a doctor's appointment and I meet with my trainer, Joe. I am really loving working out at Pure Fitness.
