Last Home Game

Tonight was the last home game for the JV team.  They won 60-8!  These boys have had a fabulous season with only one loss so far.  Last game is next week.  They moved this weeks game up a day so Dave was really bummed he had to work tonight.  He hasn't missed a game yet.  I kept texting him updates all throughout the game.  My parents, who go out of town tomorrow morning, lucked out with seeing the game.  Here's a couple of quick photos we took after the game.

October is here!!

We've had great weather this week.  Had some rain last night too! Tonight is game night.  A day early due to the Jewish holiday this weekend.  So much is going on.  Today we had a palm tree removed.  The one in the front of the house.  All three of our palm trees are so tall.  We decided to take this one out since it was so close to the house.  I forgot to take a before picture.  I am sure I have one, so I will have to look for that and show the before and after.  Also had all our grass removed and new sod layed down almost a month ago.  Love the new grass!!  We've been very slowly decorating for Halloween.  Had to move it all yesterday since the palm tree was being taken out.  It's a mess out there right now.  They are slowly getting it done and have been working on it since 7:00 this morning.  Anyway.....hope to share some Halloween pics soon.    Be back tomorrow with pictures from tonight's game.
