Warning!  A  lot of photos below!  I am so happy tonight!  The Phillies are 4-0!  They won 16-5.  These boys had a blast playing in the major league stadium tonight.  I think the best part was hanging out in the big league dugout.

                    

Tomorrow is game five!  Hopefully our winning streak will continue! :)

4 weeks to go!

Just four more weeks of school and we are out for summer!!!  I cannot wait!  We have been so flippin' busy.  I just don't have the energy like I used to.  We are gone 5 days a week and it will stay like that until the end of May.  As soon as I get home from work I have about 10 minutes to change and we are out the door again to Robert's baseball game and don't get home until around 7:30.  So that's why I have not been updating this blog. 

Last Thursday Robert had an appointment to get the rest of his braces on and then we left to go to his game right from the appointment.  Here he is waiting to get them on and here he is all full of metal!

 

Robert has some seriously sharp canine vampire teeth!!  I always make fun of him for it.  The Orthodontist said he'll probably file them down a bit when his braces come off if they don't wear down a little on their own.

Last Wednesday Robert played his friend, Gus',  team.  They are the Angels.  You couldn't tell the teams apart....only buy their hats. 

Good news is that The Phillies are undefeated (3-0).  They have a really good team.  This Monday they play in the main stadium at the Peoria Sport Complex.  This is where the Padres and Mariners spring train.  I will for sure take photos on Monday. 

Can you believe I have a cold?  My throat felt scratchy on Thursday and by Friday night I was all stuffed up.  Yesterday was  the worst.  I never got out of my PJ's.  Layed around all day long!  That's so not me.  I needed the rest and feel a little better today.  Hoping it goes away fast!  I think being outside every night is what is making me sick, but I have no choice.  

Well I have a ton to do since I wasted yesterday.  I have been taking my Project 365 photos everyday still, but I won't post every one I take here.  They can be boring!  I will start to post all my scrapbook pages I have been working on starting May 1st.  I just need to get through this week.  Three baseball games and a school concert.  I am counting the days until Friday again! :) 

Guess what I am going to see???

 Wicked!  So excited!  Wicked is coming to Arizona in July.  My friend, Debbie and I are going to go.  We bought our tickets last weekend.  I still can't believe I am going.  I have wanted to see this musical since it started!

Well that's all I have to say tonight.  It's getting close to 11:00 and I really need to get to bed. 

Phillie's win 9-4!

Tonight was game one.  The Phillie's beat the RedSox 9-4.  Robert had a blast playing 2nd base.  He caught a fly ball.  That's all that came his way tonight.  The kid that pitchedtonight was good so the Red Sox didn't get a lot of hits.  Next game is this Wednesday.  I didn't dare take out my camera today being the first game.  I didn't want to embarrass Robert.  However....I will have it out from now on.....just discretely. ;)  I made Robert pose for a picture real quick when we got home.  Not the best back ground for a photo, but he wanted to get out of his uniform and not take pictures. 

 

This week is going to be crazy!  Basically we won't be home until late every night this week.  Friday there is no school and we have nothing going on that night.

Tuesday: choir and then batting cages.

Wednesday: Game and I have to leave the game early to goto bunco.

Thursday: Robert gets the rest of his braces on at 3:00 pm and then will go to his game right from the orthodontist.  That kind of sucks!  I better drug him with Advil. 

By Friday we are going to need a vacation!!

I think it almost reached 100 degrees today.  I know it was around 98 so I am sure it reached 100.  It was hot at the game. 

I hope to post more this week, but honestly I don't know if I will.  I do have more pictures to share from the last couple of weeks - so maybe if I have some energy tomorrow night I'll try to post a couple.

So much to catch up on!

I have so much to post about, but life has just been busy.  I was going to sit down today and post a bunch of pictures, but I just didn't have time.  It's after 10:00 now and I need to go to bed.  I will share a couple of photos from Easter weekend.  The first is of Robert dying eggs on Saturday night and the next is on Easter at the park.  In this photo is Robert, Matt, Jake (the littlest one) and Tyler, Jake's dad.  They were having a catch.

Tomorrow Robert has his first baseball game.  He'll have three games a week until the end of May.  It's going to be crazy!!  Hopefully I'll be back tomorrow with a few more photos. :)

  

Saturday - April 11th

I am enjoying this rainy cold day.  Woke up to the rain hitting our skylight.  Tomorrow it will be a warm sunny day and a high of 79.  Hopefully everything will dry out by tomorrow.  We always have Easter outside.  Tomorrow we will go to my mom and dad's house for the day.  The kids have a baseball game planned in the park across the street from their house.

Tonight Dave, Robert and I will dye our Easter eggs.  I have pulled pork in the crock-pot for dinner.  We also have a couple of movies rented to watch.  Trying to make tonight special since Dave has to work tomorrow from 7:00 to  7:00.  He'll take a break around 4:30 and come eat dinner with us.  

This past week flew by fast!  Thursday Robert had baseball practice.

 

Thought I'd just post my Project 365 photos here until I get them printed. 

Robert really wants to get a job this summer.  He's too young to get a real job, but we have some things lined up for him to make some extra money.  He's saving up for something he really wants.  So he started yesterday by picking up all the citrus that fell off the trees this week with all the wind.

 

I've been scrapbooking like crazy this week.  I have missed this so much!  Here's a card that I made.

 

I really don't have anything extra to talk about.  I should get lots of pictures tomorrow.  Have a Happy Easter!!

First practice

Today was Robert's first practice.  It went really well.  He even has some kids on his team that he's played with before.  They practiced from 4:30 to almost 7:00.  After practice we had to buy Robert a new glove.  His had been ripping on the inside and it got worse during practice.  So he now has a brand new glove to break in before their games start in two weeks.  Here's my Project 365 photo for today. 

 

That's all I have to say today.  We got home late, ate dinner very late and we are just exhausted.

And the weekend ends

It's been a great weekend!  I hate to see it end. Friday afternoon Robert's baseball coach called and he's on the Phillie's.  Tomorrow is his first practice.  He excited to meet the team and see if he knows anyone.  They have their practice at the Peoria Sports Complex.  That's where the Padres and Mariners have spring training. 

Saturday I went shopping in the morning and then went and got my hair done.  That night we went and saw The Haunting in Connecticut.  I thought it was really good.  After the movie we went to Famous Dave's BBQ.  We had a great meal!  Also Famous Dave was there.  ha-ha!  So my picture for the day was this one.

 

Sunday was a kick back day.  I've been scrapbooking all weekend inbetween things.  Tonight I sat down and caught up on my Project 365 journaling for the month of March. It feels good to be caught up on that.  I just have to print half of this past weeks photos.   

Happy Anniversary!

Today is my mom and dad's 43rd wedding anniversary. Happy Anniversary mom and dad! :) 

It's also a miracle today because I scrapbooked!  Can you believe it?  I haven't done that in AGES!  I completed a layout tonight.  I'll post the link to it once I get it photographed.  I did get a little package in the mail today from Scrapbook Doodle. 

I used these fun papers on my layout. 

This week the kids are taking AIMS tests at school all day long.  That's our big testing they do each time this year.  Tomorrow is the last day.  Can you believe there is only about 7 weeks of school left here?  Crazy!  I am so not ready for summer.
