We've been decorating like crazy around here this weekend. Still not done, but it's really looking like Christmas! Tomorrow we'll finish out front. All we have done out there is hang the lights. Our party is in 4 1/2 hours. Just doing some last minute things. It's been a relaxing day. We watched a Christmas movie and I wrapped some presents. Here are a couple of photos. Have a great night!
We had a fabulous Thanksgiving day. It stopped raining for the afternoon and it was beautiful out. I have only uploaded the pictures from one camera so far. Maybe I'll get to the rest tonight. I've been spending my morning getting ready for our party tomorrow night. Dave is working today. Robert is going to a friends house for the night and I am meeting Jan and we are going to go shopping. I was looking for last years Thanksgiving pictures and then I remembered that I accidentally deleted them last year. I was so mad! So I am going to post a couple from 2006.
We woke up to rain today. It rained off and on all day long. It stopped long enough for Dave to hang up our outside Christmas lights. Tomorrow we are supposed to have morning thunderstorms. Hopefully it'll all pass and dry out by Saturday for our open house party.
We started to put up the tree tonight. Dave and Robert will strand the lights in the morning and when we get home tomorrow night we'll decorate it.
Hopefully I will not delete my pictures this year and should be back to post some on Friday.
Tonight was the last fall ball baseball game of the season. They lost, but not by much. After, we all went out for pizza. I took a few pictures, but they all came out blurry and the kids really did not want their photo taken. It's always nice to get the break when the season ends, but at the same time I miss going to the games.
Tomorrow morning Dave is going to hang up our Christmas lights and we will put up the tree tomorrow night. Looking forward to a very long weekend and spending time with family and friends.

Yes...this is just a random post. I received an e-mail from Pottery Barn and quite a few items caught my eye.
What I really should be doing is making a list of the million and one things I need to do this week. I did order my Christmas postage stamps online. I refuse to step foot in a post office this time of year.
Today was a very fun day. It started early with a bunch of us going to see Twilight. It was GREAT!!!!!! Edward took my breath away! LOL! All the characters did a fabulous job and I might have to go see it again very soon.
Here are the cards I started when I was in Utah. I just added some brads and embellishments when I got home. I guess since Thanksgiving is coming up I better post them.
Well I need to go - Dave is home with Cafe Rio for dinner. YUM!!
This week has flown by and it was a busy one! I hate going non-stop and this week was crazy!
Tuesday- Choir and a baseball game. Got home at 10:00 pm.
Wednesday- Had to get Robert's pants and shoes picked up at the mall. Then had bunco. Another late night.
Thursday- Robert's NJHS Induction Dinner
Friday- Baseball game.
Saturday and Sunday don't slow down, but it's all fun stuff!! Tomorrow morning about 8 friends will meet here at 9:00 am to go see Twilight. Then Saturday night I have a Vinyl Lettering party to attend. Sunday I get my hair done in the morning. Then it's home to work on laundry and get some other things ready for the Thanksgiving weekend.
Last night was Robert's Induction Ceremony dinner for NJHS. It was a great ceremony. He's growing up so fast.
Now we need to rush out of here for a baseball game. I'll be back tomorrow with photos of some cards I made when I went to Utah back in September. I forgot to post them. Also....maybe some silly pics of our trip to see Twilight. Have a wonderful night!
Like millions of other fans, I am waiting patiently for this movie to come out! I'm going on Saturday morning. Can't wait!!
We had a great weekend. I didn't want it to end. Saturday, Robert and I drove to Chandler Fashion Center. My sister was in charge of the book fair for her school and they were having it at Barnes and Noble. This mall is the best! All my favorite stores under one roof! So we did some shopping and had lunch at BJ's.
I also subbed for Jan's bunco group Saturday night and won the Left, Right, Center jack pot. :)
Yesterday, I finished half of our Christmas cards. That is a good feeling! I'll work on the rest next weekend. I also have our open house invites ready to go in the mail today. I made these last year, but we never had our open house. It's the Saturday after Thanksgiving. A kick off to Christmas celebration. Sometimes we never get to see friends during the month of December because of busy schedules. Here are the invites.
