Last nights game was so much fun! We are definately counting down the days until Fall football starts! It was great to see people who we haven't seen much of since the end of last season. Also to see how much these boys have grown!

Last week when I was out front watering I noticed a baby praying mantis on the wall. I've never seen one before. I ran inside to get my camera. It was soooo cute!
Tonight is the Spring football game at the high school. Can't wait for football to start this fall!! It can't come soon enough!
It's 73 degrees out at 8:23 in the morning. That's pretty cool for that time of morning. It's going to reach 108 degrees today. I think summer is officially here! Can't wait to start swimming. The water is still too cold for me to swim, but hopefully it'll be so hot Memorial Day weekend that the water will feel great!
Also, wanted to share the card I made for my mom for Mother's Day.
I'm hosting a scrap night at my house tonight. Excited to see some friends that I have not seen in awhile. I made a card for each one of my guests to kick off the night. Thought it would be fun to give them a ready to go birthday card to give away.
We are getting a little storm tonight. It's blowing up like crazy!! Now I get to drive in it to pick up Robert. It's pretty exciring though! This picture was taken right before we got hit with wind, dust and rain. So pretty right before the storm.
I also discovered that I need new windshield wipers! Good thing I took the back roads. Look at the size of that rain cloud?
My niece, Amanda, had a swim meet last Friday. She's quite the good little swimmer. She's 11 and because of her birthday she was moved up the 12-15 year old bracket. She does pretty well and came in second place for her free-style event!
At least new to me...not sure how long they have been out since I am out of the loop on scrapping product these days. Just ordered some paper from Scrapbook Doodle. Can't wait to make some cards and maybe even scrap a scrapbook layout.

Spring football started Monday. Robert actually always gets home later than normal. He stays after school and works out everyday and usually gets home at 5:30 at the earliest. Dave leaves for work at 5:30 so it's been difficult for us to have dinner together as a family a few nights a week. I need to come up with some new crock-pot recipes. That way dinner is always ready for when my boys want to eat. Anyone want to share their favorites or know of a website that's good? I need some new ideas!

We've been having some hot days lately (100 plus temps). Looks like we are having a cold front coming through. There's a chance it might rain on Thursday. That's exciting for us around here!! Keeping my fingers crossed that is does indeed rain. ☔
